Display custom messages on remote screens via URL without backend
Problem
Users wish to display custom messages on remotely managed tablets or signage without backend infrastructure or physical access. Existing approaches use URL fragments but browsers do not send fragments to servers making links unreliable and there is a lack of easy-to-use tools to generate such links.
Pain points
- Displaying custom messages on remotely managed tablets/signage without backend infrastructure or physical access
- URL fragments not sent to servers limiting shareability and fixity of message links
- Lack of no-code tools to generate and display dynamic messages across scenarios such as in-car use
Questions to verify
- Should messages be persisted on the server rather than relying solely on URL parameters
- What is the compatibility and stability across different devices such as in-car systems
- Would users be willing to pay for or switch to such a no-backend dynamic signage tool

I had the idea for BIGWORDS.PAGE when I wanted to display a message on a tablet that I had remote management control over, but no physical access. Configuring it to be a kiosk browser is easy, but how do I get the browser to show my message? So I made the URL be the message. It uses a URL fragment to configure the message. Browsers don't send URL fragments to the server, so I never see your message. There's no backend, and no storage.
