User wants open-source firmware and is willing to pay for the camera
Problem
The user is concerned about the camera's closed-source firmware, believing that open-sourcing it would increase transparency and quality, and explicitly states they would purchase the product if open-source code were provided.
Pain points
- Closed-source firmware limits perceived quality
- User is willing to pay but requires open-source code
Questions to verify
- Can open-source licensed firmware be provided?
- What price range is the user willing to pay for the camera?
- What contributions might the user make in the open-source community?

This being closed source is sad. I get the aspect of wanting to earn money, but closed source code maintained by a few people at a hobby level puts an upper ceiling of the quality. I would love to buy this if the code was actually open source

The camera knows where it is at all times. It knows this because it knows where it isn't. By subtracting where it is from where it isn't, or where it isn't from where it is (whichever is greater), it obtains a difference, or deviation.
